Master Materia:

Master materia are a combination of mastered indiviudal materias blended into one that can be used unlimited times. This is very beneficial. Master materia also only takes up one slot instead of the numerous ones if you wanted all of the materia.

Master Magic- Master all of the magic materia including the shield materia located in the Crater on the 3rd disc only. Go to Bugenhagen's lab and talk to the big green materia. Choose the first option and say yes to the materia blend.

Master Summon- Master all of the summons including hidden ones like Bahamut ZERO, Typoon, and Knights Of The Round. They are in the big blue materia, Ancient Forest, and Round Island, respectively. Talk to the big red materia(the one from the Shinra Sub that you went and got right?) and choose the first option. Then say yes to the materia blend. A Master Summon is very useful. You can cast a summon unlimited times in a single battle now. You can also link things like Quadra Magic and MP/HP Turbo onto the Master Summon and have that effect on all of them!

Master Command- Master the seven main commands (sense, steal, throw/coin, morph, manipulate, deathblow, and mime). Then talk to the huge yellow materia and select the first option. Then say yes to the materia blend and you will get the master command. Its very useful to have one on each person. Now you dont have to waste 7 slots on commands, only one!

Emerald Weapon- When you beat Emerald Weapon you get the Earth Harp. If you turn that in you get each of the master materia!!!!!!
